Crowning Champions: The Final Showdown at LakeVenture Traunsee

Austria’s sparkling jewel, Lake Traunsee, is set to host the grand finale of the 2025 SFT Surf Foil World Tour Pump Foil discipline, from September 5–7, where history will be made and the first-ever pump foil world champions will be crowned.

After a season of fierce competition spanning stunning venues across Europe and the United States—from Düsseldorf to Sicily, and Lake Garda to Atlanta—the tour now heads to one of Austria’s most picturesque alpine lakes for a weekend of celebration, community, and high-octane racing.

The World’s Best Come to Traunsee

The leaderboard is tight, but standing strong at the top of the men’s division is Swiss powerhouse Edan Fiander, whose consistent podium finishes and explosive technique have made him the rider to beat. On the women’s side, the spotlight is shining on local favorite Viola Lippitsch, who will look to lock in the championship in front of a home crowd.

Viola kicked off her season at the inaugural SFT Pump Foil event inside the Germany Boot Show and her return to Austria for the final stop adds emotional weight to an already electric weekend.
